Configuration and preparation of information transfer
In the Theemswegtracé project of the Port of Rotterdam, we advised the project organization and the main contractor on the process of information transfer to the rail operator ProRail. This included:
- arranging the process to ensure that the information from the project matches the information request of the managing party;
- translating the project scope into a project-specific configuration for information;
- linking the document flow from the contractor to the project-specific configuration;
- instructing and coaching the contractor regarding the specific requirements of the as-built drawings and technical documentation;
- providing sample templates for the as-built drawings;
- advise the project organization on aspects of the information transfer process.
Review information
It is important for an infrastructure asset manager to be able to quickly obtain the correct information from drawings, calculations and documents. That is why we have checked for the Theemswegtracé project whether drawings meet the agreements made about content and structure. This ensures that drawings can be easily stored or exchanged between the parties involved.
