Configuration and preparation of information transfer

During the first stages of the construction of the new broader passage of the Eindhoven Station, we advised the project organization and the main contractor on the process of transferring information to the asset manager ProRail and the real estate manager NS Stations. This included:

• drawing up a hands-on flow chart of the transfer process with clear lead time, roles and escalation;
• translating the project scope into a project-specific configuration for information;
• linking the document flow from the contractor to the project-specific configuration;
• instructing and coaching the contractor regarding the specific requirements of the as-built drawings and technical documentation;
• providing sample templates for the as-built drawings;
• advise the project organization on aspects of the information transfer process.

Review information

It is important for an asset manager and real estate manager to be able to quickly obtain the correct information from drawings, calculations and documents. That is why we have checked for the Eindhoven SENS project whether drawings meet the agreements made about content and structure. This ensures that drawings can be easily stored or exchanged between the parties involved.
